Funnel analysis: see where visitors drop off.

For every transition you see the conversion from the previous step, the drop-off, the share of the entry step, and the overall conversion from the first to the last step.

Visitors are counted once per step (distinct sessions), and the order doesn't have to be strict, since for each step the session's first match counts. Sessions identified as bots are excluded.

The median time to step shows the typical duration from one step to the next.

When it sits well above the same step's rolling 30-day baseline, visz.ai flags the transition as silent friction. That is an early warning before the drop-off visibly rises.

The real value is the jump from the number to the cause. Click a step's drop-off and you land on the recordings of exactly the sessions that reached that step but not the next one. The active filter comes along.

“We lose 40% here” turns into “here's what it looked like when they left”.

Use the filter bar to segment a funnel by device, source, or behavior. They are the same filters as Recordings, so the numbers stay consistent.

A funnel can also be set as the site's primary funnel. It then supplies the conversion status for the Devices and Geo breakdowns.
